Product Information

Why use press-ons?

  • Convenient - press-ons only take 10-minutes to apply and are quick to remove!
  • Reusable - each set of nails can be worn multiple times if well kept.
  • Affordable - our nails are salon-grade without the salon price tag!
  • Customisable - sets can be mixed and matched and filed to adjust shape and length!
  • Non-damaging - the sticky tabs and glue included in your nail kit are designed to keep your nails damage-free.

How long will my nails last?

Tipsie nails can last up to 3 weeks with proper care, just in time to freshen your tips after nail regrowth. Sticky tabs are also available in each nail kit for short term wear.

Will these nails fit me?

Each set of 30 nails come in 15 different sizes to ensure a good fit. Nails can also be filed down and re-shaped for a more custom fit (and to make the most out of your nail kit!)

What is included in each nail kit?

  • 30 nails in 15 different sizes
  • Nail glue
  • Sticky tabs
  • Cuticle stick
  • Nail file
  • Alcohol wipe

How do I apply my press-ons?

  1. Size Tipsie nails by placing them on top of your finger and finding your best fit.
  2. Natural nails must be clean and dry and free of polish. Push back cuticles with cuticle stick.
  3. Buff natural nails with nail file and wipe clean with alcohol wipe.
  4. Apple a generous layer of glue to your nail for long-term wear OR apply a sticky tab to your nail for short-term wear.
  5. Align Tipsie nail to cuticle at a 45-degree angle and press down for 20 seconds.
  6. File nail to your desired shape and length.

TIPS:

  • To ensure your nails last, keep them dry for the first hour after application to allow time for the adhesive to properly set.
  • Wipe each nail clean with the alcohol wipe right before application to ensure oils from skin are not interfering.
  • Cut and file your nails to a similar shape and length to the press on - this will allow for more surface area to adhere to the press-on.

How do I remove my press-ons?

  1. Soak nails in a mixture of warm water, soap and oil for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Gently lift Tipsie nails off natural nail. Re-soak nails if required.
  3. Buff excess glue off nails after removal.

TIPS:

  • Nails that have been freshly applied with glue will be much harder to remove so we recommend using sticky tabs for short-term wear.
  • Nails will naturally start to lift after 2-3 weeks of wear - massage oil into the lifted sections to aid in the removal process.
  • Use the cuticle stick to help gently lift nails.
  • If you need to immediately remove freshly glued on nails, soaking your hands in acetone will break down the glue. Press-ons will not be reusable after using this method.
