1. Size Tipsie nails by placing them on top of your finger and finding your best fit.
  2. Natural nails must be clean and dry and free of polish. Push back cuticles with cuticle stick.
  3. Buff natural nails with nail file and wipe clean with alcohol wipe.
  4. Apply a generous layer of glue to your nail for long-term wear OR apply a sticky tab to your nail for short-term wear.
  5. Align Tipsie nail to cuticle at a 45-degree angle and press down for 20 seconds.
  6. File nail to your desired shape and length.

TIPS:

  • To ensure your nails last, keep them dry for the first hour after application to allow time for the adhesive to properly set.
  • Wipe each nail clean with the alcohol wipe right before application to ensure oils from skin are not interfering.
  • Cut and file your nails to a similar shape and length to the press on - this will allow for more surface area to adhere to the press-on.
  1. Soak nails in a mixture of warm water, soap and oil for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Gently lift Tipsie nails off natural nail. Re-soak nails if required.
  3. Buff excess glue off nails after removal.

TIPS:

  • Nails that have been freshly applied with glue will be much harder to remove so we recommend using sticky tabs for short-term wear.
  • Nails will naturally start to lift after 2-3 weeks of wear - massage oil into the lifted sections to aid in the removal process.
  • Use the cuticle stick to help gently lift nails.
  • If you need to immediately remove freshly glued on nails, soaking your hands in acetone will break down the glue. Press-ons will not be reusable after using this method.
